A typical trip to the Ave starts around 7 in the morning with a huddle and some prayer before we head out.  Once on the street, we set up and begin cooking hotdogs and handing out snacks, while a group grabs some blessing bags and starts to walk.  We pack up around 3 and by that time, we will have served over 500 hotdogs, handed out over 1000 snacks and 200 blessing bags, and ministered to 100's of our homeless friends.  Your role can be doing whatever you are comfortable doing.  If you prefer to stand behind a table and hand out food, that is fine.  If you want to walk the streets and evangelize, that is fine too.  Our team will be there to watch out for you and encourage you in however you want to be involved.
